Dan Booth honestly thinks that DJ Biographies such as this one are mostly a waste of time and a bit of a pain in the arse to both read and write, from everyone’s perspective. However he’s been told that unless he writes this one he’ll be nagged incessantly and hence prevented from doing stuff he likes such as playing computer games or sleeping. As such he’s agreed to write this. You’ll notice that he keeps referring to himself in the 3rd person which is a pioneering technique designed to make the reader think that he got someone else to write it. He’s quite proud of this innovative approach and thinks that he may be amongst the first in the industry to treat the reader as if they’re totally stupid.
