Dual Drive was formed in Pune, India in 2009 by Animesh and Vaas. The boys after years of listening to different genres of music decided to gather all their knowledge to express their music in the form of Dual Drive. Though they spent their teenage years experimenting with various sub genres of rock and metal, it was this ability not only to understand but to enjoy various genres of music that gave Dual Drive the ability to interpret the nuances of Electronica.
Animesh started DJ’ing in late 2007 at small parties and his unique style of mixing different genres of house music helped him get many gigs around the town and across the country. The consistency saw Animesh perform at Guaba Beach Bar ranked 50th on dj mag best clubs in CYPRUS on 16th May 2010. At the same time Shrinivas played guitar for many bands and was mastering the art of sound production.
